Onboarding Molecular Diagnostic Testing: What you need to know before you start

Molecular diagnostic testing has revolutionized the way clinical and public health laboratories diagnose diseases and track its progression. Molecular tests are utilized with increasing frequency and have supplanted numerous conventional tests, in many areas of laboratory medicine including oncology, infectious diseases, and clinical genetics. The lecture will address quality management in molecular testing and the various nuances of molecular methodologies used in the clinical laboratory space, as well as an overview of some practical applications.
